Properties and benefits of Eucalyptus Essential Oil

Eucalyptus is a large tree, belonging to the Myrtaceae family, native to Australia and Tasmania, where more than 300 species can be found, although it is widespread throughout the world. Its essential oil has multiple uses in traditional Eastern and Western medicines.

A colorless essential oil is extracted from the leaves of the eucalyptus, but it has a very aromatic taste and smell slightly minty due to the eucalyptol. Eucalyptus specialties have been developed from experienced chefs to local fishermen.

How to use:

Oral/internal: Always take diluted, 1-2 drops in 250g of food (juice, tea, salad). Maximum 3 times a day.

Topical/External: Dilute to 1% (equivalent to 2 drops of essential oil in 10ml of a vegetable oil base or similar). For local use, apply 1 or 2 drops of the 1% preparation to the skin, 3 times a day

Diffusion: Depending on the diffuser device, 4 drops of the essential oil are poured over the diffuser container, alone or mixed with water.
