Properties and benefits of Orange Essential Oil

Colorless in color and appearance, yellow to dark yellow to orange. With a characteristic citrus flavour, fresh and intense.

It belongs to the Rutaceae family, it is a medium-sized tree, 3 to 5 meters high, with a rounded crown and regular branches. A single trunk, straight and cylindrical, first greenish and then grey. The branches appear about a meter from the ground. Orange trees have their origins in India, Pakistan, Vietnam and southeast China and were brought to the West by the Arabs.

Oranges, thanks to their pleasant flavour and refreshing properties, are one of the main table fruits. They are very popular and consumed by the entire population. Orange essential oil enhances the flavors of beverages and desserts.

How to use:

Oral/Internal: Always take diluted, 1-2 drops in 250g of food (juice, tea, salad). Maximum 3 times a day

Topical/External:  Dilute to 15% (Equivalent to 3 drops of the essential oil in 27 ml of a vegetable oil base or similar) For local use, apply 1 to 2 drops of the 15% preparation to the skin, 2 times a day.

Diffusion: Depending on the diffuser device, 6 drops of the essential oil are poured over the diffuser container, alone or mixed with water.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Keep in a cool, dry place away from light.
